I'm still giving this book 4 stars even though there were some things I'd change. LOVED Minka's story (hence 4 stars), but I wish Sage had been explored more, especially her relationship with Josef. Her relationships, in general, were a little too informed. Leo was kind of interesting, (view spoiler)
Interestingly enough, I toured a concentration camp in Belgium during the time I was reading this book, and that really helped me visualize the camp. It seems the author did a lot of research for this book, and it seemed very realistic.
I definitely could have done without Minka's fiction, though. Ughhhhh.
