Review: Room

Really, I wanted to give this 3.5 stars, but I rounded up because the second half of the book was pretty good.


The books is written from five-year-old Jack's perspective, and the beginning is pretty annoying, although I now suspect it might have been necessary to set the story up. You have to remind yourself that this is no five-year-old you know, though. By the last quarter of the book, I found myself not annoyed by Jack mostly.
