So I'm in Florida all alone, so I decided to see a movie. Seriously, that's a tricky thing. I wanted to see something that Aaron wouldn't want to see, but he and I have very similar tastes in entertainment. The ideal would have been the Traveling Pants movie since I've read -- and loved -- the books. But that's a little old.
I almost saw the Herbie movie, but I couldn't go there. I saw Batman Begins, and I really enjoyed it. I think Aaron would have liked it as well. Christian Bale is very engaging. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were joys, as usual. I like backstory, and this gave me a lot of that. I have no idea whether it was true to the comic book or even to the other movies, but whatever. I don't care.
I really wanted to see Charlie or The Island, but I know those are movies that need to be seen with Aaron.
I wish I could find a theater still playing the Pants, though.

I've had the books on my list for a while, and still haven't gotten around to them. I must refresh my Bookshelf with the library. But from the amount you're writing, looks like Florida's been productive after all.
