School radio station fights for survival

Man, this seems so suspcious -- and just all-around shitty. Regardless of content (which I fear may be helping Living Proof), the LOCAL station with a 30-year track record should easily over-rule an out-of-towner. Not to mention, this "major change" is just upgrading its signal.

They are killing radio. Totally.

I just found out that the liberal talk station I've been listening to -- 1350 am -- is apparently owned by Clear Channel. That's freakin' scary. There's no original content -- it's mostly Air America stuff and local games -- but ... I'm worried.

The Republicans killed the radio star.

Go to help save WAVM.
