So we knew we had squirrel issues, and Aaron's already declared war against them. (There's a HavAHart trap in the yard right now with a peanut butter treat.)
Now there's a mouse in the wall or window sill or something like that. I think it may drive Aaron -- and me along the way -- crazy. Seriously. He's not sleeping, neither are the cats.
It's like I'm living in Caddyshack.
Before we could go to dinner yesterday, Aaron was out in the backyard with the BB gun, trying to shoot a squirrel in the yard. (He was unsuccessful.) The squirrels continue to eat the house (to keep their nasty rodent teeth from growing into their heads or something).
Now our new mouse. I will be buying more poison tonight, and then Aaron's going to take apart the window. It should be funny. I should take pictures.
Owning a house sucks.

Uh, good luck with that. Only I hope the mouse doesn't die in the walls. That could get stinky.
