I finally ordered my contact lenses, and with my insurance, it's only $30 for a year's worth. Now, that might not seem that amazing to you all, but my lenses are usually very expensive. This is the first time ever that I've been able to afford a year's supply. This is fabulous. And very encouraging since I'll be without vision insurance shortly ...

Such a cliche

Couric's style goes from 'Today' to 'Evening'
Now I'm not a big fan of Katie Couric, but this obsession with her look and how it relates to her credibility is pissing me off. Surely, we're better than this, right? Oh, I know -- we're not. Pretty girls can't be smart, of course. I think she's brave for doing this -- but of course, who watches television news anyhow?
