Isn't this one of the happiest pics ever?

I could only be happier if Lauren Graham were in the picture, too.

Greasier?

Customers pan 'healthy' potato chips: "Fans of the old chips said the new chip was darker in color, greasier and left an aftertaste."

I always thought Mister Bee potato chips were nasty -- seemed undercooked and greasy, greasy, greasy. But that's what consumers want, so whatever. I never buy them, even with my West Virginia pride.

I never stopped saying that Bush was dumb.

Is Bush Still Too Dumb to Be President?: "Yet it is now increasingly clear that Bush's status as non-rocket scientist is a serious problem. The problem is not his habit — savored by late-night comedians — of stumbling over multisyllabic words. It is his shocking lack of intellectual curiosity."

I think I'd stop that sentence at "... shocking lack of intellect."

Am I really going to comment on this?

Yes, I am.

Jessica Simpson Gets Personal: "So far, the song has been making noise for the wrong reasons online, taking heat on blogs and in message boards for its purported resemblance Madonna's '80s-era smash 'Holiday.'"

So I just went to Jessica's website, and it totally sounds like "Holiday," especially the beginning -- I might have thought it WAS "Holiday."

And yeah, it's a pretty bad song.

Shouldn't the doctor read the labeling?

Antidepressant used by Yates questioned: "'Families don't know to be aware of this possible effect,' said Dolan, an Austin doctor who reviewed Yates' medical records after her first trial at the request of her then-husband. 'As doctors we're not going to look through 36 pages of labeling.'"

I have weird issues with this case anyhow. But aside from the case, isn't it the doctor's responsibility to be fully versed with the medications that he/she is prescribing?

Tournament Theory

Why Your Boss Is Overpaid - Forbes.com
An interesting article that I find depressing. Or maybe I'm just jealous because it isn't likely that I'll ever be in the cushy job.

I don't think this ... tactic works well on me anyhow. For me, the following just isn't true:
The more grotesque your boss's pay and the less he has to do to earn it, the bigger the motivation for you to work for a promotion.
It doesn't motivate me at all. Maybe it should.
