Supermodel Kate Moss may be charged

Whatever. That's stupid - way to encourage people to overcome their problems. The fact that she's a role model shouldn't be used to determine whether she should be charged.

I also just think it's stupid to charge users. Oh, wait. I have all sorts of issues with drug laws.

Kate Moss reportedly checks into rehab

So Kate is reported to have checked into an Arizona rehab center. Good for her.

Gee, you think?

After being married such a short amount of time, Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray are separating. Shocker. Why do people get married so damn early anymore? Are people seeking out family or something? I don't get it.

Now Sophia Bush can find someone a little more worthy of her sassy self.

Serenity out this Friday

I'm pretty excited about Serenity coming to theaters this Friday. I don't know that I'll go this weekend, but maybe. I support all things Whedon.

"'We have a much broader base than just sci-fi people,' he says. 'That's what I found in our screenings so far. They're a diverse group, fairly well-adjusted socially, and I expect that a lot of them are even having sex. I really think the line between geeks and the rest of the world is blurring.'"

CBC Arts: Canadian J.D. Fortune wins INXS Rock Star contest

And yes, I feel like I wasted my whole summer. Well, not really, but kind of. Stupid JD.

The fall of Kate Moss

I can't believe the big deal that people are making over this Kate Moss thing. Gee, she used coke - big surprise. I thought it was well-known that models did. Whatever. She's getting screwed because she's become what she was made out to be. Self-fulfilling prophesy and all.

I am shocked by how annoyed I am, though.

Changing for someone else

Have you ever noticed those people who seem to become whoever they're interested in? I know that I've picked up Aaron's interests to an extent, but I've never abandoned any basic core beliefs. I'm not going to change who I am for someone, and I don't think anyone should.

I'm just sayin'.

Finale of Rock Star: INXS tonight. Should be cool. Let's all cheer for Marty now.

Juvenile Diabetes Walk

Hey, I'm walking on Saturday for juvenile diabetes. If you have any spare $$, why don't you head on over to my page and donate online?! It'll only take a minute, and it's for a great cause!

Thanks to all of those who have already sponsored me!

And I'm so close to my goal -- won't someone help me a girl out? (Then I can up my goal, right?)

Original songs

So what were these people thinking? Especially MiG, his song was the worst. My first thought is that maybe American Idol can buy it from him for their next crappy single. Seriously. An adult contemporary ballad? And prefaced in such a way as to make them say they understand where it's coming from. Whatever. It's a sad world when I think JD did better than MiG.

Except for that horrible version of "Come As You Are." God. And they complimented it. They're morons. They know the "conflict" with him makes for good TV, I guess.

Jordis redeemed herself, but it's probably too late. It seems like INXS wants her gone.

Suzie's song wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. And Marty's song was awful catchy. He's so good.

It's not complicated. On Rock Star: INXS, they ask you to write an original song -- one that could potentially be an INXS single -- and people do songs for themselves. Now I know if I were in that situation, I would try to do a song that's similar to INXS. JD did that the best, and Marty did it well.

Bike Babe Adri

I think I can officially say I know how to ride a motorcycle. Not well, not legally and not on the street yet, but I'm getting there. Yesterday I spent a good amount of time on the Wee Beastie, riding around Aaron's parents' property. I went to third gear! Impressive.

I must admit, however, that I did drop her once. I took a turn a little too quickly, and I grabbed too much front brake to slow down. And oops, Wee Beastie toppled, and I couldn't catch her. Good news is that I know I can lift her on my own if I drop her and no one's around. Also, good news is that I didn't hurt her (or myself) since I was on the nice, friendly grass. (But yes, the grass is not the best riding surface, but I'm not ready for the street yet!)

This is $600,000 worth of cars stacked -- I'm not talking about the Cayenne and other cars to the right. I'm just talking about the first two cars -- the Porsche 911 Turbo S is on top ($150k) and the Carrera GT ($448,300) is on the bottom. Gorgeous, huh?
